Alexander Carter performed Patriotic Service in Virginia in the American Revolution.

Alexander Carter is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A131890.

Alexander married twice 1) ANNA MINSKIP or Miniskipe , she was born Abt. 1740, and died Unknown.

(2) RUTHA died Unknown.

Teri (see sources) states that this Alexander Carter was born probably in Virginia and died Chester County, S.C. about 1824. His wife was Anna Miniskipe.(or Minskip). He was in Mecklenburg Co., Va as early as 1771. Between then and the mid 1820's they went from Virginia probably had a short stop in N.C. (Chatham) and then settled in Fishing Creek area of Chester Co., S.C.In 1824 several in this family went to Carroll Co.,TN where many still are today. Other affiliated families in SC are Newton, Adams, Giles, White, McKinney,Rives.

Alexander Carter fought in American Revolution and has been approved by DAR.

This profile is generating the error "Mother Too Young"

I assume the 1738 is a typo, since the month and day are the same?
