Margaret Cartwright

Hello, my interest in Geneology goes back to before I was 6 or 7 yrs old when one of my great aunts told me stories of being related to the famous Methodist circuit rider, Peter Cartwright, who ran against Abraham Lincoln for an Illinois Senate seat. She also told me that we were decendents of Richard and Edmond Cartwright, and possibly even defendants of the Plantegenant royal family. I know she did Geneology work on the family but since she died when I was very young, I have no idea what may have happened to her records. I have done a bit of work but am interested in doing more and so would like to volunteer to help build Wikitree's global tree.
