Cartwright-2771 and Cartwright-741 are not ready to be merged because: The PM for Cartwright-2771 has taken an ancestry DNA test, but does not show up as a match to known descendants of Cartwright-741.
Nan---I am the PM for 2771. What I show in my family tree is this Elizabeth Cartwright with a husband of Edgar John Lambert
1779. Daughter is Sarena Cerrenny Lambert 27 January 1812 – 1 June 1880 (my 3 times great grandmother), married to Ira Johnson
28 March 1810 – 9 June 1889 (3 times great grandfather). Sarena Cerrenny Lambert is the mother of George Washington Johnson
1838 – 23 May 1914 (2 times great grandfather). He is the father of Ira Jackson Johnson 1 May 1870 – 15 December 1943 )great grandfather). And he is the father of my grandfather Ira Felmer Johnson 1903-1983. My tree number on family search is LYT9-DYD if you want to take a look at that. If I'm wrong on anything please let me know as all of my family is now passed on. Thank you. My GEDmatch kit # A725318
Hi, Delno. I had originally posted that message because I saw that you have an ancestry DNA test, but you don't show up in my matches. So that's why I thought our Elizabeth Cartwrights aren't the same person.
But, later I found another descendant of Sarena who is in my matches (don't remember the name offhand, sorry). So they may be a match,
after all. That's far enough back that I don't think the absence of a DNA match between you & I is conclusive.
The estate papers for Elizabeth's father, Hezekiah Cartwright, do show a John Lambert; it could be Edgar John went by John?
Cartwright-2771 and Cartwright-741 appear to represent the same person because: Per the source on 2771, these are the same daughter of Hezekiah Cartwright.
