Biography

An 1896 marriage record for Dolphus Carver and Nora/Nona Crews may be for this Dolphus; in that case, she probably died before 1910, when Dolphus was married to a much younger woman named Lula.[1][2]

From his FindAGrave entry: "Dolphus lived in Wauchula, Florida and was somewhat of a drinking man, but on this particular Sunday he was sober. He and his wife went to church to the evening services. They were walking home when a car ran over him and killed him. They said it was the only car being driven in Hardee County on that particular day."[3]
