William was born about 1626. William Carver ... [1]
Research Notes
Not the son of Richard Carver. William was not the son of Richard Carver; this association was severed in 2023. That Richard lived in Norfolk, did not have a son William and emigrated to Massachusetts in 1637, with only a wife and 2 daughters.
William might be the William Carver, christened 8 January 1626, Kippax, Yorkshire, son of Richard Carver.[2]
Noticing that William's grandson was born in Virginia, William might be a child of the Richard Carven and his wife who survived the Jamestown Massacre of 1623.[3]
