Biography

According to family lore, Bathsheba refused to go with her husband to collect bounty lands in Ohio and elected rather to stay in New England. Can you blame her, she had 10 children in the east?

On 13 Nov 1814, Sallie and Joseph Pennell filed an intention to marry acording to Gray Town records. ( Book M 1769-1792) She had not heard from her husband in 8 years and probably presumed him dead.
