Oscar was born in 1825.
He died, at the age of 72, on February 15, 1898 in Auburn, Alabama. He is buried at the Pine Hill Cemetery, Auburn, Lee County, Alabama.[1]
He received his education at LaGrange College and was a professor & department chair, Greek & Latin, at LaGrange College, AL - professor of Ancient Languages, at Southern U - professor at Martin College
