Biography
Drury appears on the 1850 census with a Sarah and following children: George, Alfred, Melinda, Drury Jr., John, Henry and Doswell. Two female residents, Emeset and Nancy Kendall also included. His oldest son Eliphaz is listed under him. Since Sarah Cassell died 1839 I believe this Sarah is Sally Kendall, likely a widow with two daughters. Sarah Cassel’s children were born prior to 1939. Drury married second in Kentucky in 1840.
