Michael Cassidy was born in Ireland.

Michael Edward Cassidy was born on July 19, 1818, in Derryvullan Parish, County Fermanagh, Ireland (in the middle of Ireland).

Married Sarah Catherine HUNT in Jan 1840 in GA and died 14 Jun 1892 in Meridian, Lauderdale, MS. [1]

Michael and Sarah had eleven children: James Edward, Mary Ann Elizabeth, Sarah Catherine “Sally”, Lucy Jane, Thomas H., Margaret Adelaide “Maggie”, John William, Henry Leland “Lee”, Walter Franklin, Oscar Eugene, and Michael Arthur.

He passed away in 1893.
