Birthdate is estimated based on marriage date. Zachariah's birthplace is unknown, though Virginia/Kentucky seems likely.
Zachariah Casteel lived in Hardin County, Kentucky in the early part of the 19th century. He married Sally Hill on 17 November 1803 in Hardin County;[1] they had at least three sons and one daughter.
Zachariah probably died before 1850, as Sally is living with John and Nancy Smith on that census. Three of Zachariah and Sally's children married children of John and Nancy.
