Biography
Shadrach Casteel lived in Appalachia, in Pennsylvania.
Shadrach was born about 1784 in Bedford, Pennsylvania, United States.
He lived on the south side of Muddy Creek at Methany Mills, Preston Co (then Monongalia Co), Virginia in 1810. In Allegany Co, Maryland by 1819, and is listed there in the 1820 census. By 1850 was in Barbour Co, Virginia (now West Virginia.) He married Elizabeth Dewitt about 1802 in Maryland.
Shadrach passed away in 1850, Peston, West Virginia, United States.
