Biography

When Martha F Casteel was born on March 22, 1861, in Rockcastle, Kentucky, her father, George Casteel was 37, and her mother, Almira Ballinger was 29. She married John McHone on July 28, 1881, in Jackson, Kentucky. They had six children in 11 years. She died in 1929 in Madison, Kentucky, at the age of 68, and was buried in Bighill, Kentucky. [1]

  • Ned McHone (1886–1913)
  • William "Willie" Deverett McHone (1889–1959)
  • Charles R McHone (1891–1927)
