So, she married Louis XIII when she was 12? And he was 13? Can this be right?

Yes. Betrothed was arranged by parents of both families. Even at times before they are born. Marriage was a real estate contract….not love or religious reasons.

Hello Profile Managers!

We are featuring this profile in the Connection Finder this week. Between now and Wednesday is a good time to take a look at the sources and biography to see if there are updates and improvements that need made, especially those that will bring it up to WikiTree Style Guide standards. Can the birth place please be corrected to Palencia, Castille which is the birthplace cited by the sources.
There is an excellent overview of the life and accomplishments of Blanche of Castille on the Columbia University, "Women of Latin Letters site: https://epistolae.ctl.columbia.edu/woman/77.html. Would it be possible to add some of this information to her bio? She was a leading woman and leader of this period.
