In the 1810 US census, there is a Reuben Cave living in Shenandoah, Virginia. His household consisted of one male under 10, one male 26-44 (himself), one female under 10 and one female 45 and over.[6] This Reuben was born 1766-1784, and was likely his son. The same Reuben Cave (age 40-49, so born 1780-1790) is also in the 1840 US census, living in Page, Virginia.
