Newspaper report from Surrey Advertiser 2 March 1929: DEATH OF MISS E. F. CAVE. LOSS TO DUCHESS OF CONNAUGHT NURSING HOME. We regret to record the death of Miss Emmeline Francis Cave, which occurred at her residence, Bagshot Heath on Wednesday of last week. Miss Cave had resided at Bagshot for many years, and took a keen interest in local affairs. She was especially interested in in the Duchess of Connaught Nursing Home and the Royal Albert Orphanage, and by her death these institutions will lose a great benefactor. The funeral took place at Lightwater Cemetry, a service previously being held at St. Anne's Church, Bagshot. A number of friends attended, including Sir Malcolm Murray, who represented the Duke of Connaught and Lady Patricia Ramsay, who were friends of Miss Cave. Chief mourners were Capt. R. Miles, R.N., Arthur Miles (great nephews), Sir Malcolm Murray, and Lady Elphinstone. A party of boys from the Royal Albert Orphanage attended. A beautiful floral tribute included a wreath from Lady Patricia Ramsay. [10]
