My father (Richard Andrew Warmuth) told me there was a connection to the Cessna families but unfortunately I don’t have his paper records as he was doing genealogy research back in the 70’s and 80’s…ie., no computer assistance. Only books, letters, bibles, phone calls, and personal recollections!

Hi Diana. I am wondering if you can help me with George Laughard. He is my ggg-grandfather. He lived a brief life, passed at an early age, had one son, but no records of his parentage (ancestry). My mother told me a story, but she said it was about her father but I am thinking maybe not, that it may have been about this person- George Laughard (Sr?). It was regarding a child being abandoned at a train station (the orphan train was very active at this time) and a family who could afford to took him in. Since he was too young to speak no one knew who he was or where he was from. I am thinking now with the age of dna that his mystery could be solved, since we are descendants of this man. But I need your help. I am excited about hearing back from you.

Hi Diana,

You have done amazing work on this tree, the Brownells are fascinating! My mother (91) lives near me now in Southampton but was born in Chile to the Delano line. Sarah Tripp married Nathan Delano, which is where our lines converge. Nathan's ancester Philippe De la Noye followed the Mayflower in the Fortune. I am trying to find a definite route back from Sarah to her Gt-g-father John Cooke of the Mayflower - do you have any leads in that direction? Thanks, Louise

I have been researching my family tree for 19 years and love to share information with others so that they can find our shared ancestors. I agree that information should be freely shared and want to contribute to that end.
