Biography

Peter M. Chadwick was born on April 24, 1815 in Boscawen, Merrimack, New Hampshire, the son of Samuel Chadwick and Sarah (Sally) Morrill Chadwick.^[1]

He married Mary Hanson on October 25, 1838 in Boscawen.^[2]

In 1850, Peter Chadwick, 35, is living in Boscawen with his wife, Mary, 33, and three children: Edwin, 10; Alfred, 8; and Samuel, 3. The youngest two are listed as being born in Vermont.^[3]

In what must have been a second marriage for both, Peter married Melinda Davis, 65, in Boscawen on March 7, 1880.^[4] Her maiden name must of been Fisher, as that was her father's name.

Peter died on March 2, 1883 in Boscawen.^[5]
