Biography

John Chadwick was born in Boxford, Essex, Massachusetts on January 4, 1720, the son of John Chadwick and Mehitable Haseltine Chadwick.[1]

He married Susanna Peabody on June 12, 1747 in Bradford, Essex, Massachusetts.[2]

"John was Deacon of the Second Congregational Church of Boxford from April, 1786 to Nov. 19, 1798."[3]

John died on March 31, 1797 in Boxford.[4] He is buried in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Boxford.[5]

Research Notes

Although he is listed by Edith Clark Chadwick in her genealogy Chadwick Genealogy Album there is no record of Jonathan Chadwick, the son of John Chadwick and Mehitabel Hazeltine Chadwick.
