William Matthew Chadwick (1855 - 1935)

I believe William Matthew Chadwick was the son of Matthew Asbury Chadwick,born Aug1830 in Blount Co., TN and Mary Jane Crider. Matthew A. Chadwick was on the 1865 Crittenden Co., KY Militia List, and he immigrated to New Hope Township (Oxford), Izard Co., AR, which he may be buried in Union Cemetary in Fulton Co. Matthew's father was Matthew Chadwick, born in Carteret Co., NC in 1793, who moved to Blount Co., TN and married Charity Elizabeth King Mar 25, 1819. They moved to Crittenden Co., KY where he died Apr 25, 1856 and is buried at Fred Clement Cemetary, Crittenden Co., KY. Matthew's father was Solomon Chadwick, b. 1761, d. 1834, and mother Abigal (Bell) Chadwick, both lived and died in Carteret Co., NC. Solomon's father was David Chadwick, whose father was Ephraim Chadwick.
