Benjamin Chadwick was born in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts on March 6, 1688/9. He was the son of John Chadwick and Sarah Manning Chadwick.[1]
He married Hannah Welch in Cambridge, Middlesex, Massachusetts on March 10, 1711.[2] They had eight children recorded at Watertown.[3]
Boyd and McCracken state:
We think it probable that after the birth of all of his children at Watertown, he removed to Attleborough, and that his wife Hannah was the woman who died there on 21 Oct. 1742 in her 44th year, but is recorded as the wife of John Chadwick.[3]
