Biography

Joseph Chadwick was born on 24 June 1803 in Falmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, the son of Avery and Sabra (Chadwick) Chadwick.[1][2]

Joseph married Susan Wing, after intentions were published on 15 October 1825 in Sandwich.[3]

He may have married a second time, as the 1860 census shows a wife named Sylvia in his household. This could also be an enumeration error for Susan.[4]

He died on 09 October 1873 in Falmouth, aged 70 years.[2]
