Biography
Mary Chadwick was born on 16 May 1742 in Falmouth, Barnstable, Province of Massachusetts Bay, the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Price) Chadwick.[1] The published VRs for Falmouth give her date of birth incorrectly as 16 May 1740, but the original record is clear that she was their second child, born 1742.[2]
She married William Gifford after intentions were published in Falmouth on 23 October 1762.[3]
