Joseph Chadwick was born on November 28, 1685 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts to John Chadwick and Sarah Manning Chadwick.^[1]

Joseph married Ruth Maddock (Maddockes) on September 13, 1710. ^[2]

Joseph is said to have died in 1765 in Weston, Massachusetts. ^{[citation needed]}
