Biography

Nancy was born abt 1776 in Westminster, Vermont. She was the daughter of Atherton Chaffee and Rachel Fuller. [1] [2]

She married Amos, son of John Abby, and a brother of the wives of her brothers, Otis and Alpha. [2]

Nancy and Abby had the following children: [2]

  2. Calvin
  3. Amos, Jr
  4. John
  5. Atlanta, died soon
  6. Olive, married De Witt Fisher
  7. Aliva, married Casper Harvey

She passed away in 1845 in Cherry Creek, Chautauqua, New York. [2]

She is buried in Arkwright Summit Cemetery, Arkwright, Chautauqua, New York [3]

Chaffee-4578 and Chaffee-846 appear to represent the same person because: same husband and mother (also duplicated).

dates don't match, but with the child birth's date is almost the same as the mother so there is a problem with the dates on the mother.
