Biography

Thomas Chamberlain was born in Great Burstead, Essex, England about 1615. He was the son of Francis Chamberlain and Agnes Haiden Chamberlain.^[1][2]

Thomas was married to Mary Unknown before immigrating in 1644. She was the mother of his children, and she died sometime before April 1674. [3] [4]

Thomas later married, second, a widow Mary Parker in Chelmsford, on April 17, 1674.^[3] We do not know Mary's birth name, however she had married twice previously, First, to John Poulter in England, After his death she had immigrated with their two children to Massachusetts Bay, She then married, second, Sgt. John Parker in Billerica or Chelmsford, Middlesex County, about 1654. He died June 14, 1667 in Billerica.^{[3] [4][5]}

Thomas Chamberlain, Sr., died in Chelmsford before December 21, 1700.^[2]
