Job Chamberlain of Bridgewater, yeoman died intestate and on 2 April 1788, Thomas Chamberlain of Bridgewater was granted the administration of his estate.[2]
His inventory was taken on 10 April 1788 in Bridgewater.[3]
In 1794 his real estate could not be divided without spoiling the whole, so it was set upon his son, Isaac Chamberlain, wo agreed to pay the other heirs their share, viz., Thomas Chamberlain (eldest son), Elizabeth Simmons (w/o Joseph Simmons), Rachel Packard (w/o Ichabod Packard), Celia Phillips (w/o Mark Phillips Jr.), and Zerviah Cushing (w/o Daniel Cushing).[4][5]
