Ann Chamberlain married Thomas Bradley, 27 Mar 1744.
Buried 19 Nov 1784. She is described in the Burial Register as 'wife of Thomas BRADLEY of Kirkby Stephen, currier, aged 64'. So she was born about 1720.
Chamberlain was not a common name in Kirkby Stephen. It was perhaps more common in Ravenstonedale. But in 1731 26 April, the dwelling house of Robert Chamberlain in Kirkby Stephen was certified as a place of religious worship. Robert is presumably the man who had been having children baptised around 1715-1718, and possibly a slightly older relative of Ann. If the Chamberlains were religious non-conformists, it will be more difficult to track them.
In 1768 a Thomas Chamberlain was listed as one of the freeholders of Kirkby Stephen.
