Joshua Chamberlain was born on March 31, 1770 in Rochester, Strafford, Province of New Hampshire, son of Ebenezer Chamberlain (<1729–>1790) and Lucretia Rogers (~1732–<1826).[1]

Joshua (22) married Ann Gould (27) (born in January, 1765 in Topsfield, Essex; daughter of Thomas Gould and Anna (Perkins) Gould) on November 11, 1792. [2] He was a Colonel in th War of 1812. Joshua was born in 1770. Joshua Chamberlain ... [3] Their children were:
