Biography

Jean Chambers married William Rankin by bond in 1773 in Guilford County, NC. The bond was dated 13 Nov 1772 and the bondsman was William Scott.[1]

Research Notes

Her birth and death dates are documented in an application for the Sons of the American Revolution Application. The applicant references The History of Guilford County by Sallie W Stockard (page 186) and also references the Rev Samuel Rankin as his source of information.[2]
