"SAMUELL JACKSON" of Marlborough county of Chester and MARCH CHAMBERS in New Castle County upon Delaware accomplished their intentions of marriage on the 16th day of ye 9th mos 1727.[1] Family witnesses on the certificate were listed in order as JOHN CHAMBERS, DEBORAH CHAMGERS, MARY JACKSON, WILLIAM CHAMBERS, ISAAC JACKSON, and MARY JACKSON.
SAMUEL died in 1745, and on the ninth day of Nov 1745, MARY JACKSON, JAMES MILLER & ISAAC JACKSON all of the county of Chester yeoman posted a bond on condition MARY JACKSON admx of all and singular the goods chattles & credits of Saml JAckson Deced.[2]
ON 8 April 1751, ISAAC JACKSON and MARY his wife of East Marlborough Township county of Chester Yeoman sold to MARY JACKSON Widow [Widow of brother, SAMUEL JACKSON] the 180 acres left by the Last Will and Testament of his father, THOMAS JACKSON. The land was noted bounded on SAMUEL JACKSON's land, and was granted unto THOMAS JACKSON of Old Castle in the County of East Moath [Meath], "Linnon Draper."[3]
