CHAMBERS, HAMMELL:[2]
Seeking information about John CHAMBERS who resided in old Windsor Township, Middlesex Co. [now Mercer Co.], NJ, and was active in the Allentown Presbyterian Church in the 1730s to 1750s. His birth & death dates and the name of his wife are not known. Seeking proof that he is the father of Robert CHAMBERS who died in 1774 in Windsor Twsp. Also seeking proof that this John CHAMBERS is the son of John CHAMBERS who migrated to NJ from Scotland in 1685 and resided in Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ, in 1694. The possible relationships between these three CHAMBERS men came from old undocumented articles. I am also seeking proof that the name of the wife of Robert CHAMBERS (who died in 1774) is Elizabeth HAMMELL. - Jack Mount. jdmount(at)cox.net. 664 N. Citadel Ave., Tucson, AZ 85748.
