Biography
My Grandmother always told me her second name was Ellen but after her death I found that it was Hellen. I spent a lot of time with her growing up and she was instrumental in giving me a notebook to write down the names of people in the photos on her wall - it was to become a life long interest in genealogy for me.
Liz was the elder of two daughters of William James Chambers & Mary-Ann nee McDonnell she was born on 24 December 1906 in Dalby Queensland Australia.
She and John (Jack) Joseph Farnham married in Dalby Queensland Australia on 26 May 1931 at St Josephs Catholic Church.
Liz was Mum to 6 living children and their spouses and Grandma to their families she was a much love Great Grandma when she died of complications after surgery at the Dalby Hospital Queensland Australia on 1 November 1982.
