Jan Chambers died before 22 June 1731, when Cornelia Van Aaken, described as the widow of Jan Chambers, married Jan Van Etten, widower of Jannetjen Roosa, as her second husband. They resided in Hurley, Ulster County, New York. The marriage was recorded in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston, New York.[4]
