Biography

Charles Champion was baptised on 8 May 1833 in North Nibley by parents William and Hannah. William was a Mill Man. [1]

Charles Champion and Charlotte Fowler married in Bristol on 22 Mar 1856. Charles was a Cloth Dyer as was his father William. Charlotte's father George was a Cloth Worker. Mary Ballard was a witness. [2]

In 1871 Charles and Charlotte were living in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire with 2 daughters and a servant (who was only 13 years old). Charles was a Baker. [3]

Charles died aged 71 in 1904 and was buried in Stonehouse on 19 July. [4]
