Hello Renee

Thanks for joining WikiTree. I'm a Mentor available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may have about WikiTree.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

If you have questions, feel free to ask me via my profile page.

Maryann ~ WikiTree Mentor

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree! You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree with one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree. Everything on the site is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code. (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Honor_Code) This is what keeps WikiTree a polite, friendly and helpful community. We have many hospitable, enthusiastic members from all over the world, so always feel free to ask if you have any questions. I hope you have a wonderful experience on the site, Regards, Nancy Lee
Hi ,

We are glad to hear you are interested in learning more about your family history. Are you planning on contributing to our Wikitree and adding your own research or are you wanting to search and use the forum? You are more than welcome to do so, it is free, and you don’t have to become a volunteer. If you want to contribute as well, please leave us another message and we can then make you a full member. As indicated above, if you just want to use our forums and search around then you can do that as a guest. One of our volunteers will be happy to make you a full member if you post again. Thanks for using WikiTree to grow your family tree. Nancy Lee, Volunteer Greeter

Hi. I have a deep history and genealogy of my grandmother's side, but little about my grandfather. Can anyone help me?

Hello and a warm welcome to WikiTree! We're creating ONE Global Family Tree and we need your Family Branches to make it happen. If you would like to help us achieve our goal, please click on the Volunteer Badge and one of our Greeters will be happy to add you as a Member of Wikitree.

If you do not want to volunteer to grow the Global Family Tree, you can still use Wikitree as our Guest. As a Guest, you will be able to browse the Wikitree site to search for relatives and we invite you to ask Questions in our G2G Forum. If you want to run a GEDCOM match report or upload your DNA for Comparison, as our Guest you can do that too! Please leave a message for our Greeter Team here on your Profile Page, letting them know what brought you to the Wikitree site today. Kind regards, Nancy Lee,
