Biography
- John Chandler, son of Thomas Chandler and Agnes Hull, was born at Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England, about 1525. [1] He married about 1550, Joane (Unknown). [1] Little mention of him has been found. [1] He was executor and inheritor in his father's will. [1]
- "As he left no will, and as the parish registers of Bishop's Stortford do not give the names of the parents of the children baptized before 1580, the names of his children are not known with certainty, but are probably as here given: [1]
- Tobias Chandler, born about 1551, buried 24 Oct 1629, married Johane Momford in 1574, and they had eleven children. Proven in 1998 to be the son of Thomas Chandler (1528 - 1611) and Joan Page his wife.
- Anne Chandler, born about 1553, mentioned in the will of her grandfather, Thomas Chandler II in 1554. [1]
- Susanna Chandler, born about 1556, married 4 Oct 1579 Joseph Taylor. [1]
- Grace Chandler, born about 1560, married 3 Oct 1585, William Rogers. [1]
- John Chandler was still living in March, 1581. [1]
