Connecticut Town Birth Records, pre-1870 (Barbour Collection) for Eunice Chandler, New Milford Vital Records lists Eunice's place and date of birth in New Milford, CT to Simeon and Eunice Chandler. She had a sister named Ruba (b. Apr 13, 1766) brother named Ozias (Mar 12, 1768).

There is another record of birth of a Eunice Chandler born to Ezekiel Chandler, b. Mar 12, 1775. There are at least two other Eunice Chandlers that appear in searches for this time period, one born in New Hampshire, the other born in Massachusetts.

According to Melvin John Hanson Tree, Eunice married James in 1790 (which date probably means in Rhode Island), and had three children with James: George W (1803-), Eunice (1804-1884) and Mercy (1811-)
