Biography

Levi Jason Chandler, son of Sylvanus Chandler and Sarah (Harlow) Chandler, was born on 21 June 1838 at Dover-Foxcroft, Piscataquis County, Maine.[1]

He married Eleanor Elizabeth Tillotson, daughter of Ezra Tillotson and Sarah (Thrasher) Tillotson, on 29 Nov. 1860 in Cambridge, Story County, Iowa.[1]

Levi died on 16 Jan. 1901 at Miami, Ottawa County, Oklahoma and was buried at Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery, Miami, Ottawa County, Oklahoma. His memorial has a photo of his headstone, biographical material and links to those of family members.[1]
