David was a carpenter, who lived successively in Washtenaw County, Michigan, South Bend, Indiana, and finally moving to Valparaiso, Indiana in 1843. He died in Valparaiso in 1846. [1]
Lydia and David had the following children:
Maria Rachel Draper b December 1840; m 1858 Julian Hatch, her cousin once removed, son of Edmund Hatch and Betsey French.[1]
James Reuben Daper b 26 May 1842; m Valparaisio, Ind. 19 April 1868 to Lottie S. Holbrook [1]
As a widow, Lydia lived with her sister Lucy for spell and then she married for a second time to Daniel Tuttle (b abt. 1804 New York). [1][2]
In 1860, Lydia and Daniel were living in Township of Dexter, Washtenaw, Michigan, United States. Also living with them are: Elizabeth Tuttle, age 20 and Daniel Tuttle, age 17[2]
Death
Lydia Maria (Chandler) Draper Tuttle passed away on 12 January 1863 in Base Lake, Michigan, USA.[1]
