CHANDLER, Rev Albert Victor George b 22.11.1867 Shirley Southampton England; w (1) no information d - w (2) Dorothea b 14.4.1889 m 14.11.1913 d 21.11.1972 He studied at Spurgeon’s Pastors Coll & began his min in Bermondsey. On coming to NZ he served Bapt Chs at Caversham & Ashburton. He was recd into PCNZ at Ass 1908; began - Ind Wanaka-Hawea (Pembroke COP) 7.9.1909 - he had supplied here from 1907. Teviot COP 14.9.1911 Lauder COP 19.6.1913 Lovells Flat ClP 4.12.1923 ‘A gifted preacher, and efficient Presbyterian, with a clear mind.’ He had trying illness at close of life. Died 23.8.1931 Lovells Flat
