Ebenezer Frost was born at Brattleboro, VT, 9 Oct 1790; He died 26 Jan 1863, a. 72, at Smith's Falls; son of Daniel Frost. Settled at Smith's Falls, 28 March 1839, as an iron founder, which business he carried on until his death, in company with his son, about twenty miles west of Ogdensburg. Mrs. Frost died 24 June, 1831. Children: James Trussell Frost, b. at Canton (?MA) 2 Dec 1818; James died 6 Feb 1865; an Iron Founder at Smith's Falls New York; James married 27 May 1858, Jeanette Stinson who was born 8 July 1827, dau. Of Jeremiah Stinson and his wife Nancy Clark. They had three children. Second child, Elvira Frost b. 6 Sep. 1821; married. 4 Dec 1841, Russell Wright Bartlett, who was b. 5 Aug 1816, son of Russell Bartlett by his wife Harriet Wright of Rome, N.Y.; [1]
