Biography

Edward, b. June 9, 1702; was a settler at Pennacook (Now Concord) N.H. as early as 1732, being one of the first board of selectmen. His house was a garrison. His were the first white children born in the town.

she d. May 16, 1748. He m., second, Widow Mehitable Emerson of Haverhill, Mass. Jan 23, 1748-9. He d. April 14, 1759 (Antiquarian - p. 37)

Her birthplace is an assumption based on the fact that the Essex Antiquarian article says she was "of Andover." Andover, Massachusetts is located in Essex County.

She died 17 days after the birth of her 10th child, Jemima 2d.
