He died 23 Feb 1756 in Woodstock, Windham, Connecticut, and was buried at Woodstock Hill Cemetery, Woodstock, Windham, Connecticut. He left two sons behind him, says his monumental stone in Woodstock on " Plaine Hill," but the youngest was not born until the 17th June after his death.
