Biography

William P Chappell was enumerated as hired man of the head of household at Sulphur, Miller County, Arkansas for the April 22, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1851 in Tennessee and single. He was a farm laborer on a home farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Edward T Hemperley, wife Lettie E Hemperley, daughter Minnie O Hemperley and daughter Ethel M Hemperley.^[1]

William Chappell was enumerated as boarder of the head of household at Sulphur, Miller County, Arkansas for the January 29, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1851 in Tennessee and single. He was a mechanic (saw mill) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Tilman I Nabors, wife Minnie Nabors, son (daughter) Edwin Nabors and daughter Maree Nabors.^[2]
