Biography

Ann Chappell was born on February 8, 1720 in Prince George, Prince George County, Colony of Virginia, daughter of Robert Chappell (1698–1779) and Mary Chappell (1708–1726).

Ann (39) married James Smith (30) (born in 1729 in Surry, Surry, Virginia) in 1760 in Province of North Carolina. Their daughter was Sarah Smith (1760–1808).

Ann died in September, 1779 in Amelia, Commonwealth of Virginia, aged 59.
