Biography
Abraham Chappell was born on May 6, 1729 in Bristol Parish, Prince George, Colony of Virginia, son of Robert Chappell (1698–1779) and Elizabeth Peterson (1706–>1779).
Abraham (24) married Mary Ann Drake (15) (born on October 22, 1738 in St. Peter's Parish, New Kent, Virginia; daughter of William Drake Sr. and Sarah (Turner) Drake) on January 29, 1754 in Goochland, Virginia. Their daughter was Nancy Anna Chappell (1768–1857).
Abraham died on October 5, 1781 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, Commonwealth of Virginia, aged 52.[1]
