His will is dated 7 March 1808 and proved on 18 February 1820 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.[1] He mentions his wife Freeborn, sons: Nathan Chase, Borden Chase, Abner Chase, and Clark Chase; daughters: Anne Weeden, Elizabeth Chase, and Freeborn Chase; he also mentions some grandchildren.
