Biography

Oliver was born Sept. 29, 1781 in Clarendon, Vermont. He was the son of Caleb and Hannah Chase. ^[1]

Oliver married Elizabeth Bailey in 1805. Possibly a second wife. He lived in Fort Ann. Children include: Nathan, Ellery, Mary (died young), Alvin, Oliver (lived in Fort Ann), Betsey, Nellie, Fanny, Hannah, Mary and Ann. ^[2]
