Mary Chase (2) born 16 Apr 1749 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, dau of Ezra and Judith Chase. ^{[1] [2]}

Mary had an older sister named Mary who died young. ^[1]

Research

Some may think this is the same Mary Chase who married Joshua Hadly, of Lyndeborough, in Amesbury, ^[3] and had several children, ^{[4] [5]} but there is insufficient evidence of this. In fact, Chase and Chamberlain concluded that she must have died young since she was not mentioned in her fathers' will. ^[6]
