Biography

lived on the homestead in Chester; married, first, Molly, daughter of Caleb Hall July 6, 1785; she died Dec. 18, 1790; married, second, Anna Blasdell Oct. 7, 1792; she died Feb. 22, 1808; married, third, Mary, daughter of Moody Chase Dec. 27, 1808; she died Feb. 15, 1823 ; and he died at Auburn, N. H., March 16, 1852, having had eleven children. John Carroll Chase of Derry, NH, consulting engineer, is his great grandson.
